Jessica Calsada

Jessica is thrilled to be a part of the Save the Pets team.  Prior to moving to Eugene she worked as a Marketing Manager for an IT distribution, sales and marketing company in Southern California.  At the end of 2009 Jessica adopted her first rescue dog, Harper, from an animal shelter in Los Angeles.  She was not much of a “pet person” prior to the adoption, but that all changed the first night Harper came home.  Jessica hopes that by volunteering with Save the Pets she can help others find the happiness, love and companionship she has found with Harper.  Combined with her passion for finding loving homes for animals and her background in marketing and event planning, she hopes to contribute to a cause that creates a little more love in the world.

Jessica enjoys attending concerts, playing softball and baking.

Molly Nicole Smith

Molly was just born and raised in Eugene and she is a true Oregonian because she loves the rain! She has been an animal rights activist for many years. Her favorite breed of dogs is pit bulls because they are affectionate, cuddly and big couch potatoes! Here she is with her rabbit Kiku and cat Fenella.

Alix Mosieur

Alix is an artist known for her amazing drawings of animals of all kinds. She has a way of bringing their souls to life with magic strokes of her pencil. She is a huge dog lover and all around animal advocate. When time permits she helps at Save the Pets adoption events and we love having her! Alix studied at Santa Barbara City College and at the University of Oregon. She has taught an art class at the Coos Bay Art Museum in Oregon; and her work has been shown at the Santa Barbara Art Museum, the Coos Art Museum, Oregon and several arts galleries in California and Oregon. She has won first place awards including Joseph Days Festival in Joseph, OR; first place at Klamath Valley Annual Art Show; and first place at Umpqua Valley Arts Association in the Western Art Shop."

Renee Douglas

Renee is a selfless devoted animal advocate who saves hard to place animals and fosters them until she can place them in new loving homes, regardless of how long it may take. On top of this she volunteers to walk dogs at LCAS or transport them around the state to other facilities and somehow manages to still have time to volunteer with Save the Pets at weekly adoption events. She never ceases to amaze us!
